Ok,
I missed all the warning statements and now I put myself into a corner. I
have built two sites with FP 2000 on Yahoo Webhosting servers. In my rush to
improve productivity, I accessed my sites with SmartFTP. Now I can't log
into my sites with FP 2000. I tried to find an old post to help me but I
couldn't find one. I apologize for bringing up an old problem, but can
someone get me back to the land of the living? Thanks in advance.....

You need to re-install the FP extensions on the server via control panel, if you have one or the
host will need to do so.

Yahoo does have install/uninstall FP extensions feature in their control panel...and it actually works.

Rob/Thomas,
I found the install/unistall FP feature on Yahoo last night but it didn't
work. Is there a timing thing or sequence that I should try. One thing I
did do was unistall FP via Yahoo and then without re-installing, I tried to
access my site from FP and got the 'you need to activate FP .....' message.
So it looks like the yahoo feature works, but re-installing doesn't fix the
problem. Your help is much appreciated.

Mike: This is the point you need to contact Yahoo.
