Front Page - Outlook trouble

I have been using all the office 2003 programs for some time.

Recently it came to my attention that I needed to get a copy of
FrontPage back onto my computer. I used my old Office 200 discs and
installed FrontPage ONLY - at least that is what I selected.

Come to find out that it must have put some other Office 2000 remnants
on my system IN ADDITION to installing FrontPage 2000. Now every time
I open Outlook 2003 it asks for the Office 2000 Premium discs. I also
have Word as my default e-mail editor but when I try and use it it
gives me this message:

"Microsoft Word is set to be your e-mail editor. However, Word is
unavailable, not installed, or is not the same version as Outlook. The
Outlook e-mail editor will be used instead."

I would like to uninstall all the remnants of Office 2000 EXCEPT for
FrontPage. Any thoughts?

Thanks, WallyC

Are you sure that you have installed other than FP2000? What you are seeing
is due to having differing versions of Office applications installed in the
incorrect order (always install older version first) and on the same PC in
the same partition.

When you open FP2000, it makes Windows think that Office 2000 is the primary
Office installed. When you open Outlook 2003, Windows thinks that you now
want Office 2003 to be the principal version so the installer runs again.

Great. What do I do now?

I want to be able to run all of my Office 2003 applications AND from
the Office 2000 suite, just FrontPage 2000.

1. Uninstall Office 2003
2. Uninstall Office 2000
3. Install FrontPage 2000.
4. Install Office 2003.
