front page appearance on line

how do I stop my front page website from stretching out of alignment when
it's on different monitors.for example when i put my favourites list on the
objects on the left spread to the right,

Use fixed width tables rather than percent width ones. Show me your page,
and I can give you a better suggestion.

All of your table/cells would have to be set with a fixed pixel width
