web site logo, favourites/address bar

using front Page 2000 , how do I add a logo to the website as it appears in
the address bar and when it's saved in the favourites menu

Check out this informaiton on how to add it. FP 2000 doesn't have any tools
since this feature is newer than FP 2000.

Keep in mid, IE 6 users will only see the icon if the site is added to their
favorites after the favorite icon is added. If the temporary files are
cleaned out then the favorite icon won't show up again (this is just the way
IE 6 is). IE 7 is better, but does have some goofiness sometimes. Keep this
in mind as there's nothing you can really do to get around these, it's just
the way they behave.
