Hi all ... I have FP 98 running on a new computer with XP home edition.
Problem is since downloading service pack 2 for XP my page editor in the FP
program will no longer open my pages that I wish to edit. I can however close
the program, go to programs, open the FP content folder and select what ever
page I need. I then use the FP Express editor that is included with Internet
Explorer. It works but is not convenient.
Any ideas ??

WinXP was not designed to truly work properly with FP98 to begin with,
especially with WinXP Home, as FP 98 required a web server to properly
operate. Some people found if they did a custom install without the web
server, it could function with disk-based webs. It's one of those
situations where it worked for some, worked sometimes for some, and never
worked for some.

It would be my guess that by adding SP2, you're out of luck with FP 98.

Thanks for the feed back Tom.
I had to reconfig. the ports and assign port 80 to work with the FP 98
server. Everything was working fine untill the SP2 install.
Just a thought ... I have not had time to try this yet but I will ..
uninstall / reinstall FP 98 and see if that makes a difference. It should
have been the first thing that I tried before looking on the internet for
help.
I will let you know what happens if you wish.
