Front Page 2003 Publishing

When I select the Publish Site option, I get the local and remote site
windows. Some times, I am able to click on a folder on the local or remote
sites and it opens very quickly, but more often than not, it takes up to 2
minutes for a folder to open. Also along with this problem, publishing
sometimes responds very quickly, but in most cases, publishing just one page
by selecting the Local to Remote Arrow can take up to 5 minutes to publish
from Local to Remote. Is there something in Front Page that can improve
this? I use either a T-1 from work or a 768 broadband connection from home.
Not really sure what is causing the problem. I appreciate any help! Thanks!

Generally that indicates a slow online server
- or a heavily used / overloaded shared host
