hello

ok you know how when you have xp with the blue start bar well in word 2003
it's blue but when you switch to the grey one it's grey in word 2003 i want
to know how to change that so it stays blue

If I understand you correctly, what you are referring to is a Windows
(operating system) setting. Which theme you choose will be used by all
programs. It is not an option you vary from one program to another.

In <[email protected]>, CyberTaz told
us an interesting story. My reply to this story is at the bottom of
this message.

Weeeeellll.... I do remember a certain program called ObjectDesktop
from StarDock that lets you do a lot of crazy things with themes and
window decorations in Windows.

http://www.stardock.com/ for all you eye-candy lovers out there. It
costs 49.95 - that are 49.95 reasons for me not to use it.

Anyway: this question has nothing to do with Word.

As true as that is, my (perhaps unfounded) assumption was that anyone who may
have used such software might at least remember having made the changes even
if they couldn't figure out how to change them back.

Besides, although I readily admit never having used that particulr hackie,
nothing I have seen suggests that it allows for application dependent task
bar behaviors.
