fresh Comp to Internet

Hello, I just recently formatted my computer and got the OS reinstalled. My
problem is that I cant connect to my local network or my cable internet. I
have a router that connects my 3 computers but no matter what i do I cannot
get the fresh one to recognize it's modem or it's connection to the router
and other networks. My guess is that 'm missing a driver but I'm not sure.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Usually with any computer/board,the installation disk gets you going.If you
run intel based board,you need to install,chipset installation utility,then
network software/drivers,once both are installed,you'll get connected.

Probably because you relied on winxp to install your drivers and did'nt use
the chipset and other drivers that came with your mobo/hw
