Frequent Error Messages whilst gaming.

Hi all, every time i play any video game (some old some new) i get an error
message after about 5 mins of gaming, "Has encountered a problem and needs to
close" Ive tried many things to help prevent this but so far not having much
look. Does any one know what may be causing these error messages?

hi dawson,
just like to ask, do you have any virus protectors??? If you have norton
anti-virus, that program is ok, but the free version of spybot search and
destroy worked way better for me. It got rid of 25 things norton anti-
couldn't. Just a suggestion to get spybot search and destroy. the free
version works great but if there is a huge problem you can buy the entire
version. Things like that happened to my computer once, and spy-bot fixed it
in 7 minutes compared to norton's 25 where it didn't pick up anything and it
froze.

Hey, yeah it kinda sorted that little problem out theres no more error
messages but now the computer frequently re-starts itself after about 5 mins,
any help is appreciated.
