Freezing Up

I have had to reinstall my XP and reinstall all the updates. Since then my
computer freezes up and I have to reboot. I have scanned for a virus and all
is well. Any suggestions?

1. What was the reason you did the reinstall? Was it a clean install or
a repair install?

2. If a clean install, did you also install all the drivers?

3. Look in Event Viewer for clues:
Start>Run>eventvwr.msc [enter]

4. We need some details about the computer such as hardware specs,
approximate age, recent history. Remember that we can't see the machine
and you need to be descriptive in order to get focused help.
