The word processor supports a Thesaurus. If you aren't familiar with
one of these what it does is to take the word that you highlighted in
your text and provide you with the contexts in which the word appears
in the thesaurus. For example, the word "fear" appears in the contexts
fear (noun), fear (verb) and cowardice (noun). You can select one of
these contexts and various alternative words will appear in a list from
which you can select one and choose to substitute it for the word you
highlighed. This is very useful if you find that you are using one word
rather too much and would like to use a similar one with a close
meaning.
Note that, in order to minimise download size, the Budgie distribution
does not contain the actual Thesaurus. The Thesaurus will only be
active if you download it and place it in the folder into which you
installed Budgie. You can download it and other dictionaries for use
with Budgie, free of charge. from
http://www.addictivesoftware.com/dicts-extern.htm. Choose either the US
English or UK English version - you can't use both.
