Spread32 is now "honor sytem" Shareware - not Freeware ("The Shareware
version is free and not time-limited, and can be downloaded from the
table below").

There is a last Freeware version:

Program: Spread32
Author: Bye Design Ltd
Install: (n.i.)
W: LFW
Ware: (Freeware) v 1.18

Some more free online spreadsheets that can im port Excel data:

* irows - http://www.irows.com/xo/Welcome.do - Looks good but seems to
be Google ad supported. Excel import worked OK, but some sheets of
workbook did not import and some did. You can make your spreadsheet
viewable by anybody and they give you code for referencing it in a Web
page or blog.

* num sum - http://numsum.com/ - allows the import of Excel based web
saved spreadsheets. I couldn't get it to import mine though. It looks
like they allow sharing to the whole Web. Nice concept, sort of like
Google Base.

* jotspot tracker - http://tracker.jot.com/ - nicely imported some
Excel cells, no direct import. You can make 2 spreadsheets for free
and share them with 5 people.
