Free Space Question No.2

I still don't understand why the free space has shrunk from 84% to 16%.
Other than smileycentral, added/deleted, nothing else has been added to my
computer, so why is there this lack of space problem?
Thanks again,

You free space has shrunk because of the many things you
are storing on it. If you don't know where you store them,
use one of these free tools to show you:

DriveUse:

Bullet Proof Folder sizes: http://www.foldersizes.com/

A few days ago, free space was at 84%, and I understand about the files and
etc, taking up room but nothing new has been added to the computer, so why
the sudden drop in free space to 16%?

And thanks, I will check out your suggestion.

It's your machine. I'm sure you will find the explanation when
you run one of the tools I suggested.

I am in the middle of trying out the FolderSizes and I can't believe all the
clutter there is around here. Some things I recognize as my own doing and
others I don't... Are items that are shown as duplicates in the C:/Windows
safe to toss out?

Thanks,

SWL

Unless you tell us what these duplicates are we cannot answer
your question. Don't forget: We can't see your machine, only
you can!
