Currently, I know of none but here is an excellent PDF meta editor that
can edit bookmarks,etc.

Looks like the reader is free, but the editor (that the OP was asking about),
is $99, not quite free is it???

Have you looked at pdfedit995 ? - doesn't have all the features but combined
with pdf995 (also free) you can do most things in a pdf conversion.

You could try creating a document using your word processor and then
use a conversion program like PDFCreate to make a PDF.
