free powerpoint to avi converters

Hi.
I'm looking for free powerpoint presentations to avi or another video
formats converters. Can anyone help me?

Unfortunately, OO's export feature doesn't include transitions. You merely
get static pages.

There was a freeware Powerpoint to swf converter mentioned in Freeware World
Team, I believe which claimed to keep the transitions intact. I couldn't get
it to work myself, but you may have better luck. From there you could go
the swf2avi route.

Help me out Sr. Bandolero,

I look at the saveAs in OOP and there is no swf. What am I missing?

It's an option via 'File | Export' in the presentation module Impress.
