Hi Ziggy, Hi all,
I agree with previous users. I just wanted to add 2 details.
In some cases, eMule had returned me more results than Shareaza. At
my system, if my Shareaza search fails, then I search again with
eMule. I like more Shareaza, but sometimes only eMule gives me the
correct results.
I can't compare them. They are both excellent tools for general P2P
use. If you can find the time, install them both and decide which
one better fits on your needs (I have installed both).

Also take a look there:

Ofcourse take your precautions before file sharing (regular full
system backup-restore points, live antivirus and antispyware
shields, always behind firewall).
NOT all guys out there are users. They are virus spreaders,
spammers, advertisers, and agents too, trying to install their
malware no user's system with fake files.
So even with Open Source products (= no malware), you have no
guarantee against fake files, so don't open anything without real
time protection.
