if you are going to offer free tial software or free software, you should
make it available at no charge. I want to evaluate the software and make my
decisions based on whether it will work for me. why should i have to pay for
something i may not even like? I have purchased Windows 3.11 and again all
the way up to and including Windows XP Pro, including Office 2003 small
business (under the impression that frontpage was a part of it) and now wish
to evaluate frontpage 2003, but in order to do so, it will cost me approx
$8.00 US. I would rather use anything else. Very disappointed.

If you are fairly proficient at web design or do a lot of "web work" the $8.00 will be the best
money you ever spend.

8 bucks probably barely covers shipping and handling.

You could try Dreamweaver MX, they have a 30 free trial...of course the download is 98 MEG !

I understand how you feel. I don't know if i will be of
much help, but i can say i own frontpage2003, and i am a
webmaster. frontpage2003 is one of the best web building
tools i have ever used. I can make changes to my sites in
seconds. But yes it should be free to try as you said.

A whole 8 bucks! Gee whiz!

The problem is you cheapskates always want something for free. Then you
pass it around to all your friends. Then you have the nerve to badmouth it
to boot.

Do you even know how much it costs to develop a program such as FP?

Try some programming and test your skills.
Simplest program is a .BAT file. Try it.
