Free Microsoft 3d flag screensaver

When I install the free Microswoft 3d flag screensaver on my Compaq Presario,
Windows Home edition XP, the colors are washed out. I've tried several
times. Microsoft and Compaq are of no assistance. Of course, they give you
a three day runaround before saying they can't help. Can anyone tell me how
to install it so that the colors are true? Thanks.
