Turning off the 16 or 17 services and uninstalling makes Vista run better.

If you have Vista with McAfee and are having Mail issues.... this may
help.

Totally uninstalling McAfee will make Vista and especially WinMail work
better.
Avast is better for WinMail than AVG.
