Who says MSN is charging for chat rooms? I just went to
www.ca.msn.com (my home page by the way) and clicked on
people & chat listed at the top. This takes me to 14 sub
headings under Chat Rooms. Everything from City Chats to
Chat Fans, Health, Religion, Automotive and tons more.
Under these headings are dozens and dozens of chat rooms
covering an infinite number of topics. All free every day.
MSN is not charging for chat rooms at all. Never has never
will. MSN chat is free. Keep smiling.

I guess I should have been a little more precise Carey.
MSN does not charge for entering or using any Chat rooms.
While you do need a valid e:mail address to join once you
do so there is no charge to go to any of the chat rooms
that you have subscribed to. It is simply a matter of
having a hotmail address or msn address as I do and using
it. This is entirely anonymous then and any spam or ads or
what have you don't go to my personal e:mail address but
rather to the one I use to give advice such as this NG. As
I use an IP and do not have a static IP address I am for
all intents and purposes anonymous. This along with a
firewall and various pop-up and ad blockers keeps me very
safe even in the chat rooms. Once again. There is no
charge for any chat room or to subscribe to a room. Keep
smiling.
