Free Backup with ability to select folders

I am looking for a backup program that allows selecting multiple disk
partitions/folder to backup to another disk. I've looked at Syncback but as
far as I can tell one has to create multiple profiles (data files) to do
this.

I use Cobian back up , I think it is what you are looking for

Very simple and does the job perfectly. Just what freeware should be.

"Back Again LE" can do what you want and is free for personal use. Try
Google under BALE and backup

Free personal version appears limited to win95/98 - I am running w2k.
