Hi,
I believe I am the (almost)victim of online fraud. I
received an email from someone who is ostensibly trying
to get their money into the US. Of course they need my
account number so that I can help them.
Any idea where to report this?
Thanks,
Todd

I called the FBI. As hinted from the FBI, it is
terrorists or beleived to be terrorists trying to raise
money for their cause. Call the FBI and report it again
and if any of your friends get the same, call again. The
more calls and the more clues, the better the chances of
catching them.

Greetings --

Is this the decades-old (This used to be distributed via
snail-mail and fax machines, in the days before email.) "Nigerian
former government" scam? If you live in the US, forward it to
(e-mail address removed); the FTC and the FBI have an on-going investigation.
