FP2003 question...

Pre-FP2003 purchase questions:

I understand that FP2003 doesn't use FP Extensions...correct?

If so, what does that mean for an existing site that was built with FP2002?
Once I install 2003, do I get rid of the 2002 extensions on my server...or
do I still need them?

Thanks!

There is no new version of the server extensions for FP2003 - you can still
use the FP2002 (or FP2000) server extensions.

Not exactly. FP2003 relies on server extensions in
exactly the same way that FP2002 does. You can operate
without them, but then certain features such as hit
counters and form handlers won't work.

FP2003 can also work with Windows SharePoint Services,
which is a component of Windows Sever 2003. However, the
FPSE and WSS environments are very different.

No impact.

Leave the FP2002 extensions in place. You'll need them as
much as ever.
