Is there an add-in or something that I can set in order to paste HTML code
directly into FP when I am working on a webpage? As you all know, when you
paste you get all those characters and symbols so you have to open the page
in notepad or some other text editor in order to paste the script.

Thanks!
Mary

On the toolbar click Edit > Paste special and check the box Treat as HTML.

However for what it's worth I always paste into notepad and then always copy and paste into the
page while in HTML view.

Best way has and is to paste any code from another web site or email into Notepad, and then into FP
in HTML view.

Split Screen is not available in versions before FP2003

She did not ask how hard or easy it was.
She asked about an "add-in"

Thanks! Pasting into Notepad first did the trick. I wish I had known about
this long ago, lol.

Forgot about split screen in earlier versions, however one could still place his cursor at a desired spot in design view, then switch to HTML view and be at that exact spot ready to paste from notepad. I recall it did work in 2002.
