FP wants to open CSS files with Notepad

On one of the computers I use, FP2000 insists on opening
style sheets with Notepad, and the line breaks have
disappeared, so the style sheet appears as continuous text
disappearing out of the window to the right.

On the other computer I use, it opens the style sheets
fine.

I don't mind editing with Notepad, but I can't clear up
where the lines begin and end -- it's not holding the
lines where I typed them.

Suggestions?

Thanks,

Peter Jordan

if you look through this group you'll see plenty of problems with editing
css with notepad. there's some problems to it otherwise. for the
formatting you might try format/ word wrap.
generally it's recommended to open a css file with an editor other than
FrontPage.

FP2000 has a known problem of crashing when editing CSS files in FP as an editor
- you or someone has set it to use Notepad as the default editor to prevent that
Find another CSS editor to configure as you default editor for CSS
- like TopStyle or TopStyle lite (free)
