FP wants to install Powerpoint!

Here's a weird one.

Recently, when I launch FP (2002), it immediately begins to want to
install Powerpoint (which, incidentally, is already installed and
functional on my PC). I have tried to let it proceed, but that has been
unsuccessful as it tries to locate, without success, a certain CAB file
on the CD. If I hit Cancel, then FP launches and performs normally.

I'm at a loss. Any suggestions would be most helpful.

Craig, I'll be watching for replies here. Wish I had an answer for
you...because I have the same problem when launching Visual Basic. VB wants
to install some Dell Picture Studio software. I've become quite adept at
clicking 'cancel' button twice in rapid succession.

Have you tried running a repair of FP and PPT (Help - Detect and Repair)
