FP sign in My Network Places

For the past few years I have been able to sign into my site through My
Network Places and complete forms very easily. After making some fairly
significant changes to the entire site (many files & folders were deleted and
others added) I now get the message Server error: Web <Root Web> is busy.
Please try again. When checking with the server host companyabout some
possible FP server extension problems their response has been "we only supply
the space and nothing else. I am using FP 2000 and have had no problem up to
now.

Open your site using FP File Open Site and type in the URL as http://wwwyoursite.com/

That works to get a specific page on the site, but even in folders view only
the one page appears. When trying to make a change to the one page and save
the change, I get the same message as before
Server error: Web < Root Web> is busy. Please try again

If you are using File Open Site (not File Open) and all you get is a page, then your host does not have the FP SE installed or they
require repair by your host

Thank you. Just before I got this post, I requested the host take down the
site from their server and just put on the original SE files/folders. After
that I was able to sign in as before and upload the backed up site. Life is
good again.
