FP on a minimum download quota

My cell phone company offers a deal to use the cell phone with a modem.
I can get 300mgs/month worth of downloading. How can I optimize FP to
use the least amount of downloading. I currently work directly on the
server.

Are you really sure you want to do that? First, cell phone connections are
notiriously bad. Second, while 300 mb of bandwidth a month might sound
pretty good to you, you will likely use it up in a couple of days. Finally,
you can't "optimize FP to use the least amount of downloading." FP is
already optimized as much as Microsoft can manage to optimize it. It
wouldn't make sense to have some sort of default setting that is slower than
"as fast as possible".

It is not a question of slower or bandwidth, it is a question of the
amout if megabytes downloaded. Any sugestions?

1st FP doesn't download anything
- if you mean to use it during publishing (from online to local pc), it all depends on your web size (don't use to many or too large
images or "chrome" like themes, and how frequently you update changed pages only

PS
FP is time sensitive in connection to the server FP SE, so a lot depends on the "quality" of the connection
