FP is crashing on me - (Not Responding)

Hi.

FP was working just fine for many months. Last week it started locking up -
saying (Not Responding) when I clicked on the page I wanted to update. I
have not made any system changes. I'm virus protected. I thought the actual
page files might be corrupt, but I moved them, opened FP and tried to start a
new site - but it crashed.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software.

Any ideas?

Try:
Search your HD for *.web and delete any files found with .web extension.

Then search for cmdui.prf and delete the one related to Frontpage (don't delete an Xara ones if you use Xara).

While you're at it clean out your .tmp files.

I am curious, did this solve your problem? I have the same problem, but
doing the search and delete didn't help.
