FP Extensions and email

Hi all,
I have set up some web-based forms which send input to an
email address using FrontPage extensions. I have
configured the extensions properly with the correct
mailhost and to/from addresses, and all was working fine.
However, it no longer works and the following message
appears:

FrontPage Error.
User: please report details to this site's webmaster.
Webmaster: please see the server's application event log
for more details.

The log does not yield anything useful. What can cause
this? As far as I know, nothing was changed on the server
to cause this yet one minute it was working, the next it
was not...

Check w/ you host if they have modified any permissions

Thanks for your quick reply, Stefan.
The site is a departmental intranet, and as such I have
access/control over the server and permissions. As far as
I know, the permissions have remained the same- unless FP
has changed them when the site is recalculated? What
permissions/ level does somebody require in order to send
email properly?

Check in the FP SE (health check) and the SMTP server settings
Did you run IIS lockdown which might have tightened permissions

The SMTP sever settings are all correct and remain
unchanged. I have not run IIS lockdown or server health
but I have since given domain\everyone full control and
the problem persists?
