FP does not support opening files from FTP servers.

I'm trying to Publish Web from FP 2002 and this message comes up when I try
to "open web" from the file menu. What am I doing wrong?
 
If you're trying to open your web live (online) you'd:

Open FP
File | Open Web
type in the url to your site: http://whateveryoursitesnameis

If your web does not have FP server extensions you won't be able to edit the web live with FP.
