FP 2002 problem with ASP

Hello to everyone,

i used PWS (FP 2000 server extensions) as a testing platform for my asp
websites and everything was ok.
However, after upgrading from win98 (PWS) to win2000 pro (IIS 5) and
installing FrontPage server extensions 2002 i have 2 problems
1)i open Server Extensions Administrator and then i right click on a subweb
in order to check FP 2002 server extensions.
I am always getting the message
<<The server administration programs and the server extensions on the web
server are not compatible. The administration program is too old to use with
this server.>>
2) i'm publishing 2 HTML websites to IIS 5 (which has FP 2002 server
extensions installed) and after publishing i can browse my websites.
However when i'm publishing an ASP web site i can't browse it.

Any help would be appreciated

Dear Tom,
thanks for your response.I did solve my first problem.
However when i'm trying to publish a disk based web site (ASP) to
http://localhost/mysite I CAN'T BROWSE IT.
I would like to point out that i have created those old web sites with
FP2000, tested them on PWS (win98) and everything was OK. After upgrading
to WIN 2000 pro (FP2002) i got trouble with these.
What do you advice me to do?

Win2K Pro uses IIS5 as the web server. Do you have it installed and the
extensions configured for it?

Yes i have installed it.It works properly.I can see the home page
http://localhost

I have also installed FP2002 server extensions and applied 2 patches

Thanasis, I have the same problem, but with Win XP. How
did you solve this? I need your help!

The same problem exists with IIS 5 and IIS 5.1
The only solution i have found is to create again the websites with FP2002
(DIW) and republish to IIS5 or IIS 5.1.
This would resolve the problem.
