FP 2002 & Discussion Groups

My WEB server is running Win 2K Adv Server, AD, IIS 5.0, FP 2002 extensions
and I publish with FP 2002.

I am trying to create discussions for one of my sites. In FP, I have used
the discussion web wizard and created all the pages and edited them to look
like what I want but I notice in my help files that I can only create
discussion and publich to a server running Microsoft Share Point Services OR
FP Extensions.

Will my FP 2002 extensions support the creation of my discussion group? It
all works when I test it.

If not, can I use FP Share Point (which is for Server 2003) on my 2k server?

What are the advantages of using either or?

FP 2002 extensions will support your discussion web just fine.

Windows Sharpoint Services for Windows 2003 will not work on a Windows 2000
server.
