Four problems with my Outlook -- I can't find help

I am having a few problems with Outlook 2003 ("w/business contact manager").
I have already looked through the online help but can't find any answers.

1) My Hotmail acct. mysteriously disappeared from my email accounts and was
replaced by a "business contact database". I deleted that, but I don't know
where my hotmail acct. is (it was originally imported from Outlook Express).
How do I put my Hotmail acct. back in my email accts? Why did this happen?

2) I open a new message and click the "To..." label. In the form that pops
up, I click on "Show Names From The: [accounts]". Inside that combo box,
everyone one of my address book folders is doubled. There are two of each
one, and one of each doesn't work. Outlook tells me to search for help on
how to delete these folders from the address book, but I've searched the
help and can't find any information on how to do it.

3) I use Firefox browser instead of Internet Explorer. When I would click
on a link in an email, another box would open up saying something like
"Locate Link Browser." (It would also open Firefox, but not without that
annoying 'open' dialog box.) So, thinking that Outlook just wanted me to
point to the firefox.exe file, I did that. Now every time I click on a link
in an email it opens up in two separate Firefox browsers. Is there any way
to fix this?

4) The last problem is that when I sign up for email groups, I get an email
response from the mailing list server that says: "550 Please configure your
mail client to use authentication." I've searched help for this but I can't
figure it out. It was working before, but now I can't sign up for any
mailing lists while using Outlook.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Josh

Thank you. That worked well and I learned a bit while messing around in
Explorer. I had assumed it was a problem with Outlook and not Firefox.
