there was a test later on that showed failure at step 19(User verification of sofware);HRESULT=OX0000000 (error code) does this help at all with why i have no sound???????? this is a direct X Diagnostic test

Ardith, was the sound working before and then just suddenly quit working. Or
did you add or do something and then the
