aureal 8830 more info

When I tested the sound card, I received the following
error. DirectSound test results: Failure at step 19 (User
verification of software): HRESULT = 0x00000000 (error
code)

Does anyone know what this means?

I don't see the answer under Microsoft MSDN database, my best guess is, you
don't have the proper sound card driver, or you could chose an option not
supported for your sound card. Check your sound card property and verify your
options correctly.
