Found new Hardware wizard problem

I recently added a new modem to replace my old modem. I uninstalled the old
modem, removed the card and loaded the drivers for my new modem and installed
the card. The new hardware wizard found my modem and installed the drivers,
but keeps finding six other devices that are not installed on the machine.
The modem worked well in Win XP Pro. This machine is running Win XP Media
Center Ed. 2002 SP 2. How can I eliminate these "phantom devices"?

The "phantom" devices may be part of your modem (i.e. game device,
sound, fax, etc.). Try running the CD that came with your modem. The
setup should provide you with the necessary drivers for these devices.
