found new hardware (printer) that's not there.

Every time I reboot, the new hardware wizard opens and says that attempts to
re install a new printer. I'm not using a printer or any external port.
This problem started when I installed a new DVD Drive. And, My computer
still shows the CD rom where the DVD should now be. Do you have any ideas
why this confusion might exist?
By the way, certain DVD's do play regardless.

Check the dvd drive manufacturers website for a driver update or firmware
update for your drive. Also check the manufacturers FAQ section for a
resolution to your problem.
