Every time I start up Windows XP, I get the "Found new
hardware wizard". It tries to install my Lexmark printer.
The only problem is that the printer has been installed
for months and is working properly.
How do I keep the new hardware wizard from popping up
every time I start up my Gateway computer?

Just in the last week or so, I’ve been getting exactly the same message when I boot my
HP laptop connected to my Canon BJC-6000 printer - a combination I’ve been using for
a year or so. Does anyone have an answer?

Does this printer by any chance have slots that also reads media cards?
Is it a USB printer?
