Bug Report #1:

Affects WinXP, WinXP SP1, W2003 Server
Symptom:
If you choose a non-standard theme for Win XP, say Finding Nemo (http://caty.surfhoo.com/), then go into the Display properties, click on the Appearance tab. Change the font size to anything but Normal. The whole Desktop colour scheme changes to standard Win XP colours.

Can the problem be replicated?
Yes. I replicated the same problem on a brand new Windows 2003 Server.

This is most likely caused by a bug in your theme package
and not Windows.

Did you perhaps think there is a reason themes are disabled by default on
2003 server?
Your using an unsupported feature, and complain when it does not work right?
If you want pretty windows, go back to 98 or XP.
Server is for seriouse users, not kids playing games.

Such a third party theme is riding roughshod over the systems normal
workings. In trying to change color you put some of those back, to get
a bastardised situation.

Sorry Alex.

(This is what you should of said.)

This nemo1.exe installed is adware, maybe spyware.
I would not use it.

No wonder it mess up the desktop.
It says you would have to accept adware before installing. That is
crazy. I refused to install it.

Install it, then eliminate the adware, presto.

Is this not an XP group? If I was you- I would leave this group and go find
a 2003 server group. My email says it affects WinXP- which is what I'm
using- I tested it on Win2003 to verify that the bug is still there.

Moron.
