Is there a way to forward a message to a contact group with out forwarding it
to the orginal sender if he is part of the contact group?

What do you mean by a "contact group"? Outlook doesn't use "groups."

Excuse me the correct term would have been distrubution list not a group.
But can it be done see first message with a distrubution list?

No.

It depends on the nature of the distribution list (personal or GAL, in an
Exchange Server environment) and the version of Outlook.

Add the DL to the message, then click the + sign to expand the DL into its
recipients. Delete the one you don't want to send to.
