You're trying to use POP access with Gmail? They have pretty good
directions.

It is asking me:

The Google mail page is asking you this? You are on the Forwarding and
POP/IMAP page?
"Forward a copy of incoming mail to ? ( email address) It sounds like I
need Microsoft incoming email address, am I correct?

No, you don't actually need to set forwarding on at all. On mine,. I have
forwarding disabled, and just have POP enabled. The mail is picked up by
the various mail clients and the Blackberry.

For yourself, for either all mail in the box, or all mail from now on.

You only need this if you actually need to *forward* your mail to another
account, and that's not needed if you are just trying to access your mail.
If you don't need that, don't select it.

Once you have POP enabled, save the preferences, and in Windows Mail set the
server names and user accounts correctly. Also, and critically, ensure
that you have the correct port numbers and SSL settings. Finally, when you
enter the Port numbers, look at the "leave a copy of the messages on the
server" box and check that if you need to access the mail from other
systems, too.
