Forward rule for an Internet Address custom recipients

Javier

Hi,

I'm running exchange 5.5 sp4, windows 2000 sp4, I made a rule to forward
e-mail to Internet Address custom recipients but it does not work, what I
mean is that messages forwarded from a local mailbox with the rule enable
never get to the Internet address.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Thank You.

Autoforward to the internet may be disabled. Have your Exchange admin set up
the forward for the custom recipient, in the properties of the mailbox that
you want to do the forward from.

I seem to recall that by default, Exchange will not forward to external
addresses via rule. Speak with your Exchange admin.

Thanks Lanwench for your help, but I can't find the option you are telling
me.

Are you the Exchange administrator?
This isn't an Outlook issue, so if you are having problems doing something
in Exchange, post to an Exchange group. As in
microsoft.public.exchange.admin.
