I have 1 mail account, account X.
I have setup this account in Windows Mail and it works properly.

I also have 1 account (account Y) that forwards the mail to account X.
Also this is working properly.

But when I want to send a mail from Windows Mail, in the FROM field, I can
only select account X as the FROM party but I sometimes also want to
send a mail with sender = account Y, how can I manage that?

You can't, without setting up account Y in Windows Mail. And unlike Outlook,
WM doesn't support the function of being able to set an account as "send
only" AFAIK....

Yes, I already thought so, but was not sure as it worked in Outlook.
Thanks for the answer! I have just set-up a 'false' POP3 account in WM and
that works!

Actually, you can. Simply uncheck "Include this account when receiving..."
which is on the General tab of the account's properties.
I have several 'send only' accounts set up that way.

Thanks for the info - I only use WM in Outlook News mode....
