On an intermittent basis, I can't view any of these discussion groups.
Message says, "Sorry, page can not be displayed, try again later." I know
there's nothing wrong my Internet connection because another PC on network
works fine. Sometimes by logging out and back in to .NET passport ID, it
comes back randomly, like now. All other websites work fine. Is there a
special
Internet Option, advanced setting? Using Win2K w/all critical updates and
IE6.0.

In OE go to Tools | Accounts | Add (or New) | News.
Set up an account for this news server:

msnews.microsoft.com

The server is free and does not require you to logon. This news server
carries over 2200 newsgroups related to Microsoft products and keeps
messages at least 30 days.

Thank you, Frank. Newsgroups via OE work fine, but names are more difficult
to read than names on MS Community Newsgroup via website. Is there someway
to get forum name or description before subscribing? It's easy to pick out
the non-engilish ones, but within english it's challenging.
Also, why is IE 6.0 inferrior to OE in using this forum? Is there a way to
enhance my IE browser for using MS forums?

1. In the newsgroup list highlight any newsgroup and hold down the Ctrl key
while you press the '+' key on the number pad.

2. Drag the divider between Newsgroups and Description to the right.

3. Drag the window larger and then do 1 or 2.

IE is inferior because the Web interface is too damn slow.
