Formulas won't calculate

Hello - as a preface - the calculations option in Tools is set on automatic
and all cells are formatted as numbers.

I created a large spreadsheet which has many formulas. Starting today, when
I change information in one tab, cells in some other tabs that reference that
cell will not update their value. The only was to make the cell update it's
calculation is to cursur into the cell (as if I am going to change the
formula). As mentioned above, calculation is set to automatic, and the cells
are definately formatted as numbers.

Any ideas? This makes the spreadsheet almost useless as I can't rely on any
numbers if they aren't updating. Thanks.

Will the sheet recalculate if you use F9?

I have tried F9 - but the formulas will not recalculate. I have to F2 into
the cell and then hit enter for the formula to recalculate. This isn't true
of every cell that contains a formula, just some cells. It's very
frustrating.

Just a thought, not sure it will work:

Select the column that contains the cells with this problem. Go to
Data->Text to Columns.

In the wizard use the delimted option and choose a delimiter that does NOT
exist within any cells in the column. Then click finish...

Try F9....
