Formula help

hello i am very new to using excel i was wondering if anyone could help me out.
I have no idea how to find or make a formula for finding the area of a circle,
than how to find the volume of a cylinder

this is more a general mathematical question
1. Area of a circle: = r^2 * PI -> Excel formula: =A1^2 * PI()
where A1 stores the radius of your circle

2. Volume of a cylinder: r^2 * PI * h (r: radius; h: height) or as
Excal formula: =A1^2 * PI() * B1
where A1 stores the radius and B1 the height of your cylinder
