I cannot find any documentation around the difference between "<>" (not equal to) and "><" used in a formula. The latter is in theory not allowed and in a simple formula returns an error or an incorrect value. However, I discovered in a formula that needed to filter out blank cells from an Excel table, the only way I could get the correct result was to use "><" rather than "<>". Has anyone encountered this and can explain it?
