Forms and Subforms

I have a members database where members may contribute more than once a year.
I have created a separate table for contributions. I have made a form with
the member ID and name and created a subform for contributions. My question
is: Is there any way to have a form and subform and be able to change to
another member ID without using the Next Record button to find the member. In
other words, I want to be able to put in a Member name and it pull up the
form and subform on that member. I am just so-so with Access, but it seems I
have actually created something like this before, but can't remember how to
make it work.

Hi Lady,

Use the toolbox (view>toolbox) to draw a combo box on your form. Make sure
the 'control wizards' button on the toolbox is pressed, then select the combo
box button and drag your combo box out on the form.

The control wizard will fire and you want to select the option that says
something like 'find a record in my form based on the value I selected in my
combo box'. You should be able to follow the rest of the wizard and be set
after that. Let me know how it works out.
