Formatting in a protected Document.

I would like to allow certain sections of a form to formatted, (i.e. Insert
bullets, Indent, and spell check), by those completing the form. From
several things I have read I should be able to do this by going to the
Protect Document task pane, and clicking on the Selections... button, but it
is grayed out and I cannot choose it. Any suggestions would be greatly
appreciated.

See http://www.mvps.org/word/FAQs/MacrosVBA/SpellcheckProtectDoc.htm.
For there to be unprotected sections, you need more than one section (not
selection) in your document. http://addbalance.com/usersguide/sections.htm.
